The iconic heritage-designated and LEED Gold Certified building at 200 Bloor Street East serves as the Global Headquarters for Manulife Investment Management. The Conference Centre project was a major initiative to transform the ground floor into a contemporary, accessible, adaptable, and flexible reception and meeting area for Manulife’s employees and visitors. At the heart of the project is a 4-to-1 event space that can be configured to host hybrid events of all sizes, up to 700 people. The project obtained WELL Certification and maintained the building’s LEED Gold designation. It was a collaborative effort between ABBARCH as the executive architect, and interior designers at MdeAS Architects and Zeidler Architects.
